Five Months

I guess it was because October was a crazy month because November was pretty chill. You had your first meal, voted in your first Presidential Election, made kissy faces, went to Aunt Shannon's baby shower for cousin Neyland, celebrated Thanksgiving by watching Aunt Abbey march in The Macy's Day Parade while at The Farm , AND celebrated Mommy's 26th Birthday!

Vote Republican. I'm Harper Schmidt and I approve this message.

The signature kissy face.

We've started experimenting with new foods and you love it!

Hanging out with Nona and Grandmother Harris at Mommy's Birthday Dinner.

Happy Birthday, Mommy!

And we're officially into Basketball Season!

We are so Thankful for you, Harper.

Four Months

Happy Halloween, Harper!

You were a doctor for your first Halloween. Your Uncle Pat loved the story about you grabbing your doctor's stethoscope as soon as you were born and he is convinced you're going to be a doctor. He got you your first Halloween costume and you looked SO CUTE!

Paging Dr. Schmidt

You also went to Tops'l for the first time this month. It was so fun putting you in a bikini and sitting in the kiddie pool with you. You LOVE bath time so you hung out in the kiddie pool like a champ!

You are so much more aware of your surroundings. I can put you in your crib sitting up in your boppy and you will play with your toys for a couple hours. That let's me change out your wardrobe to all of your 3-6 month clothes!

You're still loving football games with Me & Dad. You even came to your first pep rally this month with YaYa!

You are laughing this month. Words cannot express how much it makes my day.

And guess what?! You rolled over!! (I can see your future teenage eyes rolling at me) But this is a big milestone :) These are pictures from the morning you rolled over on purpose for the first time.

You also had your first trip up to The Farm for our annual Harris-Schmidt Alabama vs. Tennessee Game. Aunt Sarah took some great pictures of you!

Getting a bath in the farm sink with Nona

And you ran your first 10K! Well, you slept and Mommy pushed you but you were great support.

It's football season, Harper! Rollll Tide! You love hanging out watching football with Mommy & Daddy and even like the High School Football Games on Friday Nights. (You sleep through the entire game even being next to the cheerleaders, band, and student section).

Mommy & Daddy are back to teaching now so you spend your days with Nona and YaYa. I miss you too much when I'm at work, but I feel better knowing that your grandmothers take such good care of you. You also started going to Waumba Land at Beachside Community Church this month! Miss Nadine and her daughter, Sierra, love you so much and look forward to seeing you every week.

Daddy dressed you and took you to Aunt Shannon's craft show while I had choreography with the cheerleaders. You loved picking out new hair bows!
